Mahum Gohar is a TYDE research assistant.
Mahum is a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Psychology. As the middle child and oldest daughter in her family, she takes pride in balancing these roles. After graduation, she plans to take a gap year before applying to medical school, aiming to follow in her father’s footsteps.
She serves as a research assistant in the PACT lab, where she contributes to projects that align with her passion for psychology. During summers, she works at a Montessori school, fostering a love for working with young children.
Mahum is particularly interested in learning about mental disorders such as anxiety in young children and is committed to reducing the stigma around mental health. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, discovering new coffee shops, and exploring the latest fashion trends.
