Eva Carr is a member of the graduating Class of 2025 and a TYDE research assistant.
Originally from Mason Neck, VA, she achieved a B.A. in Psychology. She served as a research assistant for the Adolescence Research Group and the Program for Anxiety, Cognition, and Treatment (PACT) Lab. Her interests include how adolescent experiences influence outcomes into adulthood, with a focus on adolescent peer relationships and how they can predict later adjustment difficulties and/or psychopathology. She is also interested in the effectiveness of CBM-I treatment with adolescents to prevent adulthood difficulties.
Eva further assisted TYDE with its inaugural Youth Hackathon, which helped to create digital mental health interventions for teens. She served as team ambassador, research lead, and content presenter on what makes an effective pitch.
In her spare time, Carr enjoys hiking, being a Hoos Connected facilitator, reading mystery novels, & spending time with friends. Upon graduation, Carr is planning to work in research for a few years before applying to graduate school for a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
