Emma is a rising fourth-year undergraduate majoring in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. During the 2024-2025 school year, she was a member of the PIT CREW lab, focused on promoting culturally responsive teaching initiatives.
In summer 2025, Emma received a TYDE undergraduate fellowship. She is a member of the Coping Power Rural project, focused on facilitating the implementation of mental health programming and engagement in rural schools. Her summer project, facilitated by the TYDE fellowship, involves the creation of student-focused media literacy programming for upper-elementary aged youth.
Emma’s interests lie at the intersection of youth mental health and education. She is passionate about facilitating safe, inclusive school environments where youth can thrive and learn to love learning. In the future, Emma hopes to embrace her passions and love for learning in a career as a school psychologist.
