Devon Sean Centeno is a TYDE research assistant.
He is a second-year Posse Scholar pursuing degrees in Psychology and Economics. He has been involved in PACT Lab since Fall 2025.
His research interests center on understanding how anxiety and depression manifest across Latinx populations, with a particular focus on how cultural values and stigma shape mental health experiences. He hopes to conduct future qualitative research within Latin American countries and beyond, exploring how cultural context influences the development and expression of anxiety, especially among adolescents and teenagers.
Outside of research, Devon enjoys planning community-building events involving music with HoosOnAux and facilitating leadership workshops through the Latinx Leadership Institute.
