Stephanie Keister (Institutional Review Board for the Social and Behavioral Sciences) explored common challenges researchers face when submitting a research protocol for IRB-SBS approval.
The session covered the informed consent process, ensuring research participant privacy and confidentiality in data collection practices, and identifying and mitigating participant risk.
Additionally, we reviewed available IRB-SBS resources to facilitate a smooth and efficient protocol submission.
