Mark Sherriff (Computer Science) and Mark Rucker (Associate Director of the Digital Technology Core) explored various options for devices and tools that researchers could use to gather data from study participants. From custom Android or iOS apps to web portals to online survey tools, they talked about the pros and cons of each and how to get support through UVA’s Research Computing group to streamline the execution of studies.
