Dr. Daniela Fernández is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Psychology Department (University of Virginia) under the Thriving Youth in Digital Environments (TYDE) initiative.
She completed her undergraduate in Psychology at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (Chile), master’s degree in psychology at Universidad Alberto Hurtado (Chile), and her MPhil and PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Exeter (UK).
Her research is focused on how social and cultural norms and structures affect individuals’ social and identity formation, combining qualitative and quantitative analysis with social psychological perspectives.
