On May 7th, we hosted “Engaging in Education Research-Practice Partnerships: Insights from the Center for Community Partnerships at UVA”.
Research staff from the Center for Community Partnerships at UVA, Nina Schoonover and Asha Muralidharan, shared how they developed and sustained research-practice partnerships with local school districts and fostered a state-wide collaboration network to understand the use of research evidence in Virginia.
The session included interactive discussion on the principles behind community-engaged scholarship and methods for mutually beneficial research partnerships.
