On March 11th, 2026, the Vice Provost for Pan-University Initiatives and the Directors of Thriving Youth in a Digital Environment (TYDE) hosted Grand Challenge leaders, faculty affiliates, and postdocs to attend a special media training & networking opportunity.
The event featured Eric Zack, Chief Partnership Officer at The Conversation, a leading academic news platform reaching millions of readers worldwide. Attendees learned how to pitch their research to a broader audience and position their voice for maximum impact. Afterwards, guests were invited to a reception to connect with fellow Grand Challenge researchers.
